All DTB power back up generators in Melbourne underwent a self diagnostic test at 10am on Tuesday 2nd February.
A self-diagnostic test automatically starts the generator and checks whether the system is performing as it should, i.e. starts up with no issues, maintains the correct voltage and hertz while it’s running and shuts down with no issues.
If you didn’t hear any alarm coming from your generator, then this means the system is working fine and ready to fire up if there is a power outage. If there was an alarm, or if you have any concerns, please contact DTB Pumps.
There is a sticker with the serial number attached to your system for reference purposes.
