The DTB Rainwater Reuse System is perfect for commercial and domestic applications. What is a rainwater reuse system?

All this rainwater can be collected in large storage tanks, either via the gutters, downpipes or divertors. From the tanks, that is where the rainwater reuse system fits in.

These immaculate, all-in-one bundled systems allow a residence to utilise this collected rainwater or replenish reticulated water in a variety of indoor and outdoor uses.

Rainwater reuse accounts for the third largest source of water in Australia. Annually, rainwater reuse provides an estimate of 274 billion litres 1 of used nationwide.

What are the uses of the collected water?

Rainwater is considered in many locations to be non-potable as they may have sediment, debris and some microbes. Depending on its use, DTB’s Rainwater Reuse System can be easily customised with additional degrees of filtration and sterilisation. For example:

What makes the DTB Rainwater Reuse System unique is that we provide:

  • Circuit breaker panels which can isolate individual units for servicing purposes and, hence ensuring uninterrupted usage.
  • Variable speed drives ensuring energy efficient operation of the pump systems. In addition, advance pump protection features such as low flow and overload protection ensures the longevity of the pumps.
  • A low-level alarm when water tank storage is low.
  • An automatic mains changeover valve, automatically switching to mains water when the tank begins to run dry.
